Safety and Health Manager


The Safety and Health Manager role is responsible for advancing safety compliance performance, and as part of the site leadership team, developing, implementing and driving effective safety and health compliance strategies and programs, developing a higher-level or understanding and technical skills relative to compliance throughout the plant. This role also provides its compliance knowledge and expertise to capital and major expense projects, including contractor safety review and oversight, equipment design and implementation as well as pre-start-up review.


• BS in Safety or a closely related field
• 5 years of hands-on safety program management/leadership in a manufacturing setting.
• Effective training and presentations skills, ability to influence for results at all levels within the manufacturing plant.
• Knowledge and proven success in the following key areas: emergency response, audit and evaluations, engaging workforce and leadership in proactive safety culture.
• Excellent organization and time management
