EHS Specialist

Requirements to be considered for the ehs specialist role:

B.S. in Environmental Science/Safety/Related

3+ years of environmental and safety experience in a chemical/continuous process environment preferably in a plant setting

CalOSHA, Air Quality and California regulatory requirements familiarity/experience

Wastewater treatment experience is a strong plus

Responsibilities OF THE ehs specialist:

Federal/state/local EHS requirements compliance

Environmental Regulations – Tier II reports, air permitting, updating SPCC plan, storm water, etc.

Provide expertise with respect to air emissions, wastewater/waste management via permit implementation and reporting

Assist in planning/implementing/maintaining EHS programs

Safety related risk assessments/job hazard analyses

Participate in Root Cause Investigations
